Still struggling

I am now several weeks behind my submission date for the unit on colour and whilst I could blame busy, Christmas etc. much of the reason is of my own making.   When I started this unit I thought I’d be clever and scan the materials, then rather than working systematically through the exercises, I could take relevant pictures whenever the opportunities arose.  Well it hasn’t worked or at least it has not had the desired effect.  Yes I did take pictures and pretty much according to the directions for the exercises and I made some scribbled notes to go along with them, mostly.  What I’m finding now though is that they don’t really mean that much to me, or I find that I didn’t follow the exercise properly and have to go back and re-do it, or at the very least back track through the exercises again so that they make sense.  So much for saving time and making the best of the opportunities available to me – another steep learning curve!

About Anne Bryson

I live in Gloucestershire with my husband Iain and West Highland Terrier, Isla. I enjoy golf, photography and my grandchildren, not necessarily in that order! Having completed a 10 week digital photography course with the Open University in 2010, I decided I wanted to take my photography further and enrolled for the Open College of the Arts BA (Hons) starting with 'The Art of Photography' which I enjoyed so much that I went gone on to do Digital Photographic Practice and People and Place. In April 2016 I enrolled on my fourth OCA photography course, Documentary. This blog is my Learning Log for this course.
